CrossWave – The Ultimate Adventure Craft

The brief for Yamaha's engineering team was simple yet ambitious: develop the ultimate adventure personal watercraft. The result - arguably the industry’s most unique, innovative and revolutionary personal watercraft to ever to hit the water – ideal for fishing enthusiasts, adventurers and families.

The CrossWave isn’t about going faster, it’s about going further and doing more.

Unique Deck and Platform

At 36cm longer and 43cm wider than the FX Series, the CrossWave introduces a new level of space, stability and practicality. Its innovative full walkaround deck, featuring premium marine matting and a flat-floor design, delivers true 360-degree accessibility, making it easier than ever to move around the craft in comfort and with confidence, whether that is fishing, exploring and simply kick-back and relaxing.

The CrossWave also features Yamaha’s integrated T-Track system, providing seamless integration for a host of accessories, including washdown kits, rod holders, trolling motor brackets and shallow-water anchors. This innovative system gives owners the freedom to configure their craft exactly how they want it, for any adventure on the water.

Massive Capacity

This unique WaveRunner is the only personal watercraft in the market to carry up to four passengers, with the ability to remove the third and fourth seats, unlocking additional space on the deck for movement or for storing an esky, fishing or other gear.

Whatever your adventure, you no longer have to compromise on what gear you can take. With an industry-leading 310 litres of storage, including rod storage, a dedicated anchor locker and dual in-hull stern compartments, there's room for everything from fishing gear and safety equipment to camping essentials and watersports accessories.

Powering the CrossWave is the industry’s largest displacement engine, Yamaha’s renowned 1.9 litre High Output naturally aspirated marine engine. Combined with the class-leading volume, 100 litre fuel tank, you have the necessary power, performance and capacity to reach and enjoy all your favourite spots.

Cutting-Edge Marine Technology

The CrossWave features an industry-first floating console, with dual touchscreen displays, combining Yamaha's proven 7-inch Connext® touchscreen for intuitive control of the craft's advanced systems with a 7-inch Simrad® NSX chartplotter/fishfinder, helping you to find and hookup your next catch.

Enhancing your on-water experience is the factory installed 8-inch, Bluetooth, footwell speakers – allowing you to pump out your favourite tunes while enjoying your favourite water activities.

Another handy feature is the built-in battery switch, which allows users to easily and quickly disconnect the battery while this ski is not in use, preventing power drain and helping to extend the life of the battery.

This CrossWave also comes with Yamaha’s patented and industry-exclusive cleanout port, allowing riders to easily access and clear out debris from the jet pump, without having to enter the water.

Ready to Hit the Water

Every CrossWave comes factory-equipped with a 52-litre cooler. While this craft is fitted out with a wide range of premium features as standard, owners have the opportunity to further customise their craft with an additional range of CrossWave specific accessories. Accessories lineup to be announced at a future date.

The 2027 WaveRunner lineup is expected to hit Australian shores in late 2026. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
