Total Tilt with Limiter
Yamaha’s exclusive TotalTilt™ function enables the full tilt up or down of the outboard with a simple double-press of the tilt button. It includes a built-in limiter which protects and stops the engine from hitting bait boards or other objects.

24-Valve DOHC Engine
The 4.2 Litre, V6, double overhead camshaft (DOHC), 24-valve, four-stroke engine delivers plenty of power to push large offshore boats.
Plasma Fused Sleevless Cylinders
The plasma fusion process creates a cylinder wall 60% harder than steel, eliminating the need for steel sleeves. This cuts down weight, boosts fuel efficiency, and increases engine capacity for a better power-to-weight performance.

Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust
By redirecting exhaust bubbles away from the prop when under 2500 rpm, the cleaner water allows for better prop grip and improved thrust. Ideal for manoeuvring around marinas, docks, structures or reversing onto your catch.
