Integrated Hydraulic Steering
Neatly built into the outboard bracket, this hydraulic system delivers smooth and precise non-powered control. Its compact design creates a cleaner engine well and reduced wear compared to bolt-on hydraulic systems.
Digital Electronic Control
Advanced features include: Push button up and down Speed Control and Pattern Shift for slower than idle speed trolling. Neutral Hold for engine warm up or changing batteries and Station Selector for selecting more than one helm.
16-Valve DOHC Engine
A proven 2.8 Litre, 16-valve double overhead camshaft (DOHC) In-Line design, with four valves per cylinder maximises efficiency and power. The streamline design achieves an impressive power-to-weight performance.
Variable Trolling Control
Yamaha’s variable trolling control lets the skipper adjust engine idle speed in 50 RPM increments via the digital gauge. This allows you to set a precise trolling speed for better lure presentation when targeting different fish species.
High Output Alternator
With up to 50-amps, the high-output alternator delivers plenty of power to keep charging the battery even a low RPM. Provides plenty of power to run an array of electronic devices.
Total Tilt with Limiter
Yamaha’s exclusive TotalTilt™ function allows full tilt up or down of the outboard with a simple double-press of the tilt button. A built-in limiter protects the engine from tilting too far. Available on Digital Electronic Control (DEC) Models only.
